Paul's Start from Humble Beginnings
Early 2020
When Paul first set out to establish a real estate business here in El Segundo, he lamented the lack of appropriate options of agents to assist homeowners in their endeavors. Recalling past circumstances where he himself had a number of trustworthy and knowledgeable resources for services such as employment, finances, taxes, and other important areas of life- Paul begins to envision an El Segundo “where homeowners and homebuyers have a Real Estate expert that they can actually trust and rely on” and decides that El Segundo is the area with the most underserved pool of buyers and sellers.
2021
His business plans are revealed for a new type of Real Estate business for the South Bay- one that puts the interests of the home sellers and homebuyers first- and opens his first office here in El Segundo. Supported by his brokerage, eXp Realty of California, he begins to assemble a professional team to help him plan, design and build his dream — which he decides to call Paul Karch, Realtor®.
2022
The MLS announces Paul’s first listing here in El Segundo, a humble single-family home over on Virginia Street, with a large lot and a small (original) bungalow from 1922. Paul recruits his mentor and friend Kim Ewing to help him craft a special selling and marketing strategy just for this particular owner. Paul uses this strategy effectively to attract an extremely large number of potential buyers and local El Segundians to attend the Open Houses, which includes many serious buyers and property developers. Due to it’s success, Paul decides that he will continue to use this strategy moving forward.
2023
As plans for growth in the business continue, Paul begins to enlist his friends, family members, acquaintances, and past sales and marketing colleagues to assist him in a plan that is not only sustainable, but scalable as well.
2024
Paul hires a new marketing firm to help with his plans for expansion to areas outside of El Segundo, though still within The South Bay. After considering population trends and modern marketing channels and routes for content distribution, Paul decides on three major areas for his marketing and sales efforts for the foreseeable future: El Segundo, Redondo Beach and Hermosa Beach.
2025
The newly restored KarchRealty.com, designed by Paul, opens at the very start of the 2025 calendar year. His goal is in line with his current capabilities, which is one (1) new listing successfully closed, in each of these areas, in 2025.
